Sergei Kozlov ~ Director of Photography

Award-winning Director of Photography Sergei Kozlov was born in Moscow, Russia. He graduated from VGIK Film School in Moscow in 1989 and continued his studies at The Rockport, Maine Film Workshops. He worked on a variety of music videos and commercials before making his first film CHILDREN OF IRON GODS with director Tomas Tot.

Television credits include: THE LION IN WINTER; RUSSKIYE V GORODE ANGELOV; JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS; SATAN’S SCHOOL FOR GIRLS; MERLIN and THE ODYSSEY.

Sergei has twice won a Nika award for Best Cinematographer, in 1995 for LIMITA and in 1994 for DETI CHUGUNNYKH BOGOV. He was nominated for an EMMY award for MERLIN in 1998 and for an ASC award for JASON AND THE ARGONAUTS in 2000.
